TECHNOLOGICAL JOURNEY
Harvesting success and preparing for future innovations
As the leaves turn and autumn sets in at Hurlingham, we look back on a season marked by notable achievements and forward to more exciting developments. This summer’s Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic was a testament to the resilience and capability of our new Point-of-Sale and Ticketing platforms, which were both rigorously tested before and during the event. Both performed exceptionally well, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees and staff.
The demand for tickets was yet again immense, which always presents a huge challenge to any technology platform. This year, however, our improved platforms coped admirably, selling almost our entire allocation of tickets within 20 minutes!
This season has also been pivotal in paving the way for the ‘My Hurlingham’ app. Your feedback and engagement have been vital in shaping its path thus far, and for this to be as valuable a part of your Club experience as possible, we need this to continue.
Seen in The Times Notebook…
Bot ticking
When I sign up for something online, I am often asked to tick a box that says “I am not a robot.” I think this is pointless. Surely in the age of AI, any robot worth its salt could be programmed to tick that box.
We have also implemented improvements to our online dining bookings system, making reservations easier and more efficient. This early upgrade is another part of our broader commitment to integrate the best technology to enhance your Club experience.
Looking ahead to the cooler months, we are excited to begin planning improvements to our Clubcard statements. These will be designed to provide clearer, more detailed financial transactions with the Club, and improve transparency and member satisfaction.
As autumn progresses, we continue to cultivate a landscape of innovation at Hurlingham. Each step forward in our technological journey is taken with careful consideration, ensuring that we not only meet, but exceed the expectations of our members, maintaining our tradition of excellence, as we embrace the future.
